Hartjieboer Dam

Duncan and Terry have been trying to get us to go camping with 'em for yonks now. Or (to be more precise), caravanning. So finally - as autumn sets in around us - we made the trip to the green, green waters of the Hartbeespoort Dam.

In my youf, I recall a Greek friend telling me Greeks couldn't pronounce the name - who can? - and their best attempt was "Hartjieboer" " Dam.

So ladies and gents, I present - a day at Hartjiepoort Dam with Duncan and Terry. Enjoyed by all, and especially Alex, who was taken aback by the green water. Neon green. "But water is supposed to be blue!" quoth he. Quite right. :-)
